Engineering Methodology
Understanding that sound
engineering is as important as the solutions offered, Orbita’s proven
engineering methodology has been
developed such that the installation of our
solutions are well integrated and in line with our client's i) current network
functionality, ii) anticipated scope of work, and iii) event and process
mediation across the client’s relevant organizational structure. Our phased
approach ranges from pre-installation to on-going support and is predicated on
the clear and concise exchange of information at all levels as they pertain to
network operations, service delivery, system efficiencies and profitability.
To achieve this holistic approach, we employ a formalized implementation
procedure prior to system installation. The methodology includes; current
workflow overview, accounting of installed HW/SW systems, review of
intra-processing and extra-processing departments, review of forecasted changes
and cost analysis. The primary objective is to obtain a point-to-point
understanding of data movement, the subsequent integration of cross-departmental
operations, and an implementation plan.
Orbita has
assimilated and refined Best Practices as they have played a role in the
operations of our customers. These strategic and hands-on practices are applied
to each and every one of our installations. The entire process is aimed at
preparing the customer for self-sufficiency, and to develop and document formal,
practical and concise business rules and practices.
