RESTON – February 20, 2003 –
The Orbita Group announced today that its Network
Operations Center in Miami
has been expanded to support and manage third parties’ VoIP operations. Gateways
supported include CISCO, QUINTUM, CLARENT and NUERA. These solutions provide
clients with real time control over their call records, as well as the
reliability and performance of their networks.
The engineering group in
Miami can additionally design, implement and maintain VoIP or TDM networks for
the termination or origination of voice traffic.

1. Billing Services. Periodic
billing report that provides a summary of billable traffic that has occurred
through the client’s routes. The report includes the period’s total, i.e.: # of
calls, # of minutes and relevant sales price. The report would be broken down by
i.e. billable destinations as required: City(ies), Cellular, Rest of Country, A
comprehensive list of CDRs for each billing period would be included.
2. Traffic Management Services.Traffic
QoS report that provides statistics which reflect the route’s health, i.e.: ASR,
AHT. Based on price and quality, traffic can be routed through the optimal
route.
3. NMS & Engineering Support.
Automated reporting of system alerts. Automated response to system alerts that
affect the route’s QoS.
